This level was a long lost temple where the ancestors of advanced technology hid a secret weapon for the protoss to find in a time of need. I looked a lot at ancient temples here in our own history and went down a rabbit hole of information on ancient civilizations. Inspired by the mysteries of our own past I used that to drive the visual look of this location. I was in charge of artification for this level as well as lighting, terrain textures, and some environmental modeling. I worked with Thiago Klafke, Josh Anderson, Chaz Head, Allen Dilling, Brian Sousa, Michael Chae and Martin Holmberg. I created the terrain textures as well as some of the models such as ramp stairs and gates.
